Sunday rainy Tucson

I'm putting off grading.  That means I'm doing odd stuff.  Like manipulating photos.  One of these will be my author photo b/c whyyyy not.  You know how a lot of popular male poets have those 'super-cool' posed photos--they're black & white & look scruffy hipster but posed all cool as well?  Those make me laugh a bit.  I like the first one, the androgynous rain one where it looks like I have a bowl haircut.  Hottt.  This rain in the desert is making me happy & sleepy.  I'd rather not be grading but movie watching.  I'm gonna eat some cheese grits & chkn sausage.

it's official / our girl matched with her first choice for residency / is moving to Martinez, Cali / residency at Contra Costa / happy bittersweet day in Tucson

There's our girl dressed crazy for a skit.  The Drapers are a great  family.

Tucson fam:  of course MM & I were there nervous!

ANXIETY.  One at a time these MDs have to go onstage to open envelopes in front of everyone to see where they matched for residency.  Seemed torturous to me.  

There's our girl who of course match with her first choice.  So proud & happy Dr DD.  LOVE!

THANKS MS NELSON.  in the auto we wrote letters to ourselves 10 yrs ago.  this was especially powerful & cathartic, a real joy in the sharing thereof, as i feel we've become a magical little circle of writers the last couple weeks.  then, KN talked about divination/phenomenology to ADV PO.  she spoke of Cixous, Akilah Oliver, etc & also read some of her own work.  just divine indeed.
