uncle fred & aunt jean took me to big pine key to see the key deer this afternoon. the deer are mini-sized & run right up to your car, not scared at all. it's illegal to feed them, though obviously they're humanized. makes me ill at ease to have deer running at the car--one had been hit, had a broken leg. not good. but they're beautiful & trusting.
