voltaire books, a pretty cool indie bookstore, is closing its doors & everthing was 50% off. i got ten great books & some spectacular carnival notecards/stationary. i got--barry hannah's 'long, last, happy'--DFW 'The Pale King'--Bolano's '2666'--egan's 'a visit from the goon squad'--joyce's 'finnegan's wake'--t williams' 'the two character play'--'camino real'--'the glass menagerie'--'in the winter of cities'--woolf's 'a room of one's own.' real nice hardbacks too.
