things i'm happy about on saturday:

1. i finally got a good hair cut--first since may.  thank you rebecca at stardust salon down on magazine st in the irish channel.  love my cut.  love this city more now that i know i can get a good cut.

2.  big thanks to stephen & dolly at pinwheel for nominating a poem for "best of the net 2013"-thanks guys!

3. thanks to delta mouth literary festival for inviting me to read at the 2014 festival in baton rouge.

4. thanks to andy stallings for inviting me to read at the poetry exchange project's reading at tulane in     november.

5. i just had some grits & an egg for lunch.
